History Of Islam

Islam is a monotheistic religion founded in the 7th century by the Prophet Muhammad in the Arabian Peninsula. The religion quickly spread throughout Arabia and within a century of its founding, Islam had reached Spain in the west and as far east as India. During the early centuries of Islamic history, the Islamic empire experienced a period of rapid expansion and cultural development, leading to the formation of a distinct Islamic civilization.
